Blimey – that certainly was a classic old-skool “International Week” – so I’ll cut to the chase from the off…
A whopping FORTY EIGHT of us scored 30 points or more this week, with thirteen of those hitting the 40 point plus marker!
And one of them went into the hallowed “fifties”…
Neil T obviously stole his daughter’s lucky PAS charm this week, scored 47 points, and still pulled up short…yeah, I know right?!
To be fair, he was outrageously denied a weekly win courtesy of 3 x added-on time away goals in Malta, Scotland & Portugal – see, stealing gets you nowhere, kids…
Rob C must be rueing missing a game after getting a nine pointer in Latvia that put him close on forty nine points.
So that left Pete Britton 55(6) up front & centre to take the weekly £20 prize!
“Dream Team” (whadyamean you don’t play it??!) empresario Pete can mainly thank an added-on time correct score treble – however, I think the real story here was the homing in on a fourfold of 8 pointers…
Well done Pierre, looks like it’s on trend to hit the Top Ten in our respective competitions!

Eight poor souls didn’t manage a correct score, including three who scored 20 points (yes, that’s you Lily T, Ollie O, Neil O!) Good news – All in double figures though, eh?! <smiley emoji>

Didn’t we do well…most popular score was Italy’s 3-0 win against Israel – 26 of us got that!
Twenty five got the 1-3 Italian win over Estonia 22 felt Slot Fergie vibes when this Spanish 92nd minute penalty secured an 8 pointer 4-0 v Bulgaria
Eighteen revelled in the schadenfreude of the Netherlands’ late late show in Malta
17 got 3 goal demolition of Azerbaijan by France Sixteen quite rightly predicted Germany’s 4-0 thrashing of Luxembourg
11 will shout out loud about the humbling of Finland by Netherlands
Five made us all green by happening upon San Marino 0-4 Cyprus
4 put us all to shame by predicting Latvia 0 England 5
Howard T, Martin S & Frankie L we’re so happy for Portugal 2-2 Hungary they will actually wear that ballet dress…
Ben McK, Matthew S & David M had Norway’s merciless deconstruction of Israel
Patricia F & Matthew S (again!) just knew Stockport would keep a clean sheet for a 1-0 vs Blackpool
However, this week’s best correct score goes to…nobody – that doesn’t happen very often!

Danny A was on “Bet of the Week” position 60th in Week 2 so we asked him to provide a treble (that’s a home, an away and a draw) selection for the £3 “trixie” bet.
And guess what?! We won! Again! Kinda…
