PAS Lucky 13 Winter 2025 Week 5 round up

I guess he was one of the names then…

Money:

Well, that was some week eh?! Actually, it wasn’t. It proved a sticky for most. Like, stuck in the middle…with me.   Fourteen people managed 30 points or more and two duked it for the £20 prize – cos they both got to forty points & beyond. Justin C & Olly O gave it some but not quite some enough. Ryan G had it all sewn up, but a Super Sunday brace of added-on time correct scores meant that Jonathas Moitas 43 (6) snuck up on the rails for a bit of weekly glory. And he bucked the the trend (twice now this season!) of never doing well after getting the Friday night game correct. And he got a correct score against his own team. Oh, I guess the 2 x five pointers and that BIG correct score went a long way too!   Anyway, well done J, another case of compounding Scouse misery – I could go on about a 12 point turn-around analogy n all that, but that’s just being cruel…     The Slinky Six   Assists – L. Foster M. Lazetic

I Felt Stupid:

If you weren’t stuck in the middle this week, you were stuck in the mire. Only five punters ended up with less than 15 points. Eight did not record a correct score! (My heart bleeds Gareth M…) Wow! Only one finished out of a double-digit return though…   Debbie Lee  9(0) was all alone. Awwww!

Correct Score of the Week:

I’m in awe…most popular score was Toon’s 2-1 win over Fulham – 30 of youse got that!   Twenty eight obviously guessed Coventry would beat Watford 3-1 7 saw their typo come good on the game at Rangers Six somehow stumbled on Hearts 3 Celtic 1 (how????) 4 nailed Barrow 2 Barnet 2 Four more were all over the 3-1 to Dundee Utd Matt W & Jonathas M thanked the Lord for Lyle Foster Neil T & Andy F smashed home (with a double dollop of jam) TEN points by way of Man Utd 4-2 Brighton       However, this week’s best correct score goes to Paul Carter for his quite-frankly-ridiculous-but-probably-quite-obvious-if-you’re-on-the-other-side-of-the-earth inspired, Everton 0 Spurs 3!

Bet of the Week:

Rob C was on “Bet of the Week” position 45th in Week 4 so we asked him to provide (another) a treble (that’s a home, an away and a draw) selection for the £3 “trixie” bet.   And guess what?! Epic fail…   Middlesbro (H) – Wrexham wrecked it Walsall (A) – against a resurgent Cheltenham? No! Barnsley/Rotherham (D) – Nope, south Yorkshire is, erm, red…     So, £0 goes on “Bet of the Week” slot 45th – can’t win ’em all Roberto!   Francesca Fernandez is in 83rd    Franx, I need your 3 team treble (H, A & D) by Friday please!   I know you never read this so I’ll look forward to you not answering your phone either…

Table News:

Let’s Go Surfing”:

Elliot Davy stays top, but now only 3 points ahead of Stefan P who, in turn, is four points clear of Neil T in third.   One crashed the Top Ten.

How It Ended”:

Falling furthest this week, down a whopping 37 places is Debbie Lee – dishonourable mentions go to Anthony R (-20), Luke S (-22), David M (-25), Nick H (-21), Frankie L (-33), and Scott H (-20).     Click here for further details…

PAS Lucky 13 Winter 2025 Week 4 round up

It’s all Greek to me…

Rafters:

After the points nirvana of last week’s “International Week”, it was back to a harsh reality for most of us in Week 4…

Last week, the average score was 29 points. And this week?

Only 2 players scored 30 points or more!

And both of them fancied their chances of grabbing the £20 weekly prize too –

“Nearly theres”, Will H, Jazz S & Simon Linds petered out after promising weekends.

Frankie L so nearly landed a debut season win but was robbed by Notts County. Late. Late, late.

Chris D did all he could, even nabbing the a correct score in the last game of the week to get to 30 points!

That left Emma Tudor 31 (4) claiming victory – mocking the Friday night correct score curse but very much in debt to a 96th minute Aberdeen winner at St Mirren.

That secured the point that made the difference…

Welcome back Emma! Looks like that decision to come back to the fold is paying off already…

Now, can we have some gee-gee tips please?!

The Fortunate Four

Assists – nothing to see here

Crumb:

Ooof – 31 punters failed to breach 15 points this week!

Eleven couldn’t buy a correct score (some did ask, but, as always, we rebuffed…).

And, 3 unfortunates couldn’t even get into double digits.

Tim P & David M, your blushes were spared by our kid in America, Hira Yonzan 8 (0)

A bit “Liverpool” that H!

Correct Score of the Week:

Meh…most popular score was Middlesbro’s 2-1 win over Ipswich – 25 of youse got that! And 24 of youse regretted it…

Seven landed on the two-two in Glasgow. The wrong side of Glasgow…

4 were all over the Scottish Premiership 0-3 to the Jambos

Predictz & Leo C had an awayday special thanks to Chelsea’s win at the City Ground

Rich L & Predictz (again!) thrilled at the thrilling Hibs 4 Livingston 0

Debbie L saw Tyrese Hall steal in for a 94th minute winner at Barnet for max points and probably ruining your acca…

However, this week’s best correct score goes to Darren McCarthy for his who-says-a-dull-all-is-all-doom-and-gloom? inspired, Southampton 0 Swansea 0!

Bet of the Week:

Debbie L was on “Bet of the Week” position 45th in Week 3 so we asked her to provide a treble (that’s a home, an away and a draw) selection for the £3 “trixie” bet.

And guess what?!

We won! Again! Kinda(ish)…

“Finger’s crossed…”

H.  Man City v Everton – in!
A.  Not Forest v Chelsea – in!
D.  Norwich v Bristol city – out!

So, £2.03 goes on “Bet of the Week” slot 45th –  it’s a start!

Harry Hopper & Rob Currin are in 33rd this weekand “Bet King” Bert was first out the hat!

Roberto, I need your 3 team treble (H, A & D) by Friday please!

Can you do the magic again?!

Table News:

Big Light”:

Elliot Davy stays on the top perch, 10 points ahead of Neil T who, in turn, is two points clear of Pete B in third.

Two crashed the Top Ten.

The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Fallacy”:

Neil Osborne drops 5 places to anchor the league, two points adrift of Laura H, who, in turn, is 5 points behind Dan H…

Crashing Up”:

Highest climber this week, up a whopping 40 places is Emma Tudor – honourable mentions go to Jazz S (+27), Will H (+28), Paul H (+31), Andy B (+27), Chris D (+37), and Simon Linds (+32)

Restless Leg Syndrome”:

Falling furthest this week, down a whopping 32 places is David Murray – dishonourable mentions go to Mike C (-28), Norman L (-20), Tim P (-30), Ryan G (-24), and Lee P (-20).

PAS Lucky 13 Winter 2025 Week 3 round up

Officially my 3rd team at next year’s World Cup… (it’s Cape Verde, mum. And that lad on the left is from Dublin!)

Honey For The Bees:

Blimey – that certainly was a classic old-skool “International Week” – so I’ll cut to the chase from the off…

A whopping FORTY EIGHT of us scored 30 points or more this week, with thirteen of those hitting the 40 point plus marker!

And one of them went into the hallowed “fifties”…

Neil T obviously stole his daughter’s lucky PAS charm this week, scored 47 points, and still pulled up short…yeah, I know right?!

To be fair, he was outrageously denied a weekly win courtesy of 3 x added-on time away goals in Malta, Scotland & Portugal – see, stealing gets you nowhere, kids…

Rob C must be rueing missing a game after getting a nine pointer in Latvia that put him close on forty nine points.

So that left Pete Britton 55(6) up front & centre to take the weekly £20 prize!

“Dream Team” (whadyamean you don’t play it??!) empresario Pete can mainly thank an added-on time correct score treble – however, I think the real story here was the homing in on a fourfold of 8 pointers…

Well done Pierre, looks like it’s on trend to hit the Top Ten in our respective competitions!

  The Slinky Six

Assists – M. Depay G. Mancini (90’+3) – Italy M. Oyarzabal (90’+2 pen) – Spain

Weak In The Presence Of Beauty:

Feeling a bit underwhelmed by the “point plunder” that International Week promises?

Yeah, I know… But, once again, even this week’s loser wasn’t really that much of a loser! (helpful?!)

Only 1 (ONE) person failed to get more than fifteen points this week.

Eight poor souls didn’t manage a correct score, including three who scored 20 points (yes, that’s you Lily T, Ollie O, Neil O!)   Good news – All in double figures though, eh?! <smiley emoji>

Bad news – Laura Harrison 15(0) was left languishing once again…

Oh, and Laura, International Week is back in Week 8 – eeeek!

Correct Score of the Week:

Didn’t we do well…most popular score was Italy’s 3-0 win against Israel – 26 of us got that!

Twenty five got the 1-3 Italian win over Estonia 22 felt Slot Fergie vibes when this Spanish 92nd minute penalty secured an 8 pointer 4-0 v Bulgaria

Eighteen revelled in the schadenfreude of the Netherlands’ late late show in Malta

17 got 3 goal demolition of Azerbaijan by France Sixteen quite rightly predicted Germany’s 4-0 thrashing of Luxembourg

11 will shout out loud about the humbling of Finland by Netherlands

Five made us all green by happening upon San Marino 0-4 Cyprus

4 put us all to shame by predicting Latvia 0 England 5

Howard T, Martin S & Frankie L we’re so happy for Portugal 2-2 Hungary they will actually wear that ballet dress…

Ben McK, Matthew S & David M had Norway’s merciless deconstruction of Israel

Patricia F & Matthew S (again!) just knew Stockport would keep a clean sheet for a 1-0 vs Blackpool

However, this week’s best correct score goes to…nobody – that doesn’t happen very often!

Bet of the Week:

Danny A was on “Bet of the Week” position 60th in Week 2 so we asked him to provide a treble (that’s a home, an away and a draw) selection for the £3 “trixie” bet.

And guess what?! We won! Again! Kinda…

“Saturday special…” (becoming “a thing” these “specials”)

Stockport (H) – yes!

Barnet (A) – yes!!

Chesterfield/Salford (D) – oh no!

So, £2.90 goes on “Bet of the Week” slot 60th –  better than nowt!

Nice one Danny boy!

Matthew E, Debbie L & Nick Hogwood are in 45th – Debbie was first out the hat, so…

Mz Lee, I need your 3 team treble (H, A & D) by Friday please!

Keep the giddy up, giddy upping!

Table News:

Wishing You Were Here”:

Elliot Davy jumps 2 places to the top, 1 point ahead of Pete B who, in turn, is two points clear of Neil T in third.   Six crashed the Top Ten.

Invisible”:

Laura Harrison drops four places to the bottom, 5 points adrift of Paul F, who, in turn, is three points behind Patricia F…

Love Resurrection”:

Highest climber this week, up a whopping 60 places is Rob Currin – honourable mentions go to Pete B (+32), Stefan P (+30), Harry H (+43), Scott H (+36), David M (+44), Jack B (+30), Rich L (+49), Sam A (+48), and Dom W (+33)

All Cried Out”:

Falling furthest this week, down a whopping 43 places is Stanley Marriott – dishonourable mentions go to Julian F (-31), Tony M (-42), Sean K (-38), Anthony R (-34), and Ollie O (-32).     Click here for further details…

PAS Lucky 13 Winter 2025 Week 2 round up

“To be honest, I got schadenfreude…”

Come Dancing:

After last week’s shenanigans it had to be a better week, eh? Well, for most of you, it was! Even this week’s loser wasn’t really that much of a loser… But this bit is about winners!

So. 28 punters scored more than thirty points this week – which is good for them as it transpired – but four of those broke into 40 point territory and all of them were in with a shout of nabbing the £20 prize. George T proved to be a not-like-Ange-Aussie with only Bournemouth denying him and Ryan G was also undone by the team from Boscombe.

And the team from Fulham Broadway.

The team that done over his team from Liverpool… Andy F will be kicking himself that he missed Friday night’s games cos unlike Everton, he missed out on by two points!

Meaning, for the second week on the trot, Lily Templeton 44 (8) has scooped up some prize money & Week 2 Winter 2025 is forever next to her name! Her 3 x 5-pointers-eight- correct-score haul put her in profit for the season already!

Will Grigg, eat your heart out…   Congrats young lady, back in the day, your mum blazed a trail for Belfast by becoming the first woman to win a PAS league title & PAS Champions League – so I guess it’s in the genes, eh?!

The Enlightened Eight

Assists – A. Semenyo

You Really Got Me:

We’ve got 102 real people playing this season (well done us!), and it would seem everyone is upping their game! Only two scored less than 15 points this week as correct scores proved to be very elusive for half the playing field. Surprisingly, only 2 players registered “zero” in the column marked “CS” – mad! (Oh, Olly O!) And! Single-digit scores were absent. Bravo? Matthew Stafford 14 (0) you really are all alone this week…but Paul F kinda kept you company – bless.

Correct Score of the Week:

Well i’ll be…most popular score was Wrexham’s 1-1 draw with Birmingham – 26 of youse got that!   Eleven got very annoying last minute spoiling Bournemouth 3 Fulham 1 8 just knew Swansea would score against Leicester for a 1-3 Seven were grateful for the 3-1 Ipswich derby day win over Norwich 4 lapped up the injury time joy of Celtic 3 Motherwell 2 Sean K was proper grinning at Man City’s 0-1 at Brentford Elliot D nabbed the form book upsetting Portsmouth 1 Middlesbro 0   However, this week’s best correct score, and new Correct Score of the Season, goes to David Goggin for his every-dog-has-its-day-even-in-Scotland inspired, Aberdeen 4 Dundee 0!

Bet of the Week:

Rob C was on “Bet of the Week” position 83rd in Week 1 so we asked him to provide a treble (that’s a home, an away and a draw) selection for the £3 “trixie” bet.   And guess what?! We wooooooooooooooonnnnnnnn!!!   “League One special…” Bolton (H) – yes! Wimbledon (A) – yesssss!! Northampton/Port Vale (D) – oh yeah!!!     So, £28 goes on “Bet of the Week” slot 83rd –  magnifico! Stellar performance Bert <three clapping emojis & a kiss>   Danny A, Predictz & Jack B are in joint 60th – the Stalybridge Red was first out the hat, so…   Danielsan, I need your 3 team treble (H, A & D) by Friday please! Or Thursday. Or Saturday. Or Sunday…   Vamos!

Table News:

Sunny Afternoon”:

Lily Templeton stays in the top slot, 8 points ahead of Andy F who, in turn, is three points ahead of Elliot D in third.   Six crashed the Top Ten.

Stop Your Sobbing”:

Matthew Stafford remains to the bottom of the pile, 5 points behind Chris W, who, in turn, is 1 correct score off Paul F…

Days”:

Highest climber this week, up a nosebleedingly whopping 64 places is Norman Lee – honourable mentions go to Ryan G (+60), George T (+57), Mike C (+39), Frankie L (+33), Chris D (+60), Sean K (+34), Julian F (+48), Justin C (+53), and Nick H (+41)

Waterloo Sunset”:

Falling furthest this week, down a whopping 48 places is Neil Osborne – dishonourable mentions go to Ric P (-38), Will O (-41), Rich L (-38), Peter M (-43), Harry H (-41), Predictz (-33), and Olly O (-40).       Click here for further details…

PAS Lucky 13 Winter 2025 Week 1 round up

“Angel of the North…”:

Pull Shapes

We’re back! With a bang!

No, not Arsenal – PAS!

Anyway…

I’ll cut to the chase cos this is waaaay late!

It was all about 30 points + this week – and, 7 of the 103 signed up for this season did just that – go team!

Luke S, Ciaran N & Neil T hit the sweet spot, I went one better (IKR!) and Jamie S went 1 more point beyond that –  impressive starts people…

So that left two punters out front, one had a Super Sunday & a couple of spoonfuls of 90 min+ goal assisted correct scores & the other didn’t but went one better on the late late correct scores.

In fact if the first game of the new season didn’t have 93rd minute OG, all this blabber would be irrelevant!

We have a tie, ladies & gents!

Congrats to Lily Templeton & Elliot Davy 33 (6) who will equally love and hate WBA respectively, but share the £20 weekly prize – bravo!

The best week to win as you can’t lose now! (Actually… – Maths Consultant)

The Sharing Sixers

Because It’s Not Love (But It’s Still a Feeling):

Did you score 25 points+ this week?

Wow, we’re awesome, aren’t we?!

Thirty seven(!) punters couldn’t manage more than 15 points this week  – and five of those couldn’t muster a correct score.

Shocking.

And 3 of those couldn’t get into double figures!

Shocker!

Matthew S & Leo C were spared big blushes courtesy of, well, a new record low?! (Dan! Dave! Get the archive files out!)

Yep, Laura Harrison 3 (0) actually managed to do something that I for one, reckon is harder than getting 50 points!

Erm, bravo?!

Correct Score of the Week:

Quite tame actually…most popular score was Arsenal’s late (but utterly grrreat!) 1-2 win over Toon – 29 of youse got that!

Eighteen got Hearts 3 Falkirk 0

7 got Bournemouth’s “Desmond” at Leeds

Five believed in Paliss. A 2-1 kinda belief…

4 had Villa’s 3-1 win over Fulham

Stuart F & Predictz doffed a cap to Coventry’s 3-0 deconstruction of Birmingham

Sam A got the dull-all at Deepdale

Dave C said “Look at me! Yes! Me!” for his Charlton 3 Blackburn 0

Chris D soaked up the big correct score vibes at Griffin Park

However, this week’s best correct score goes to Luke Stafford for his even-in-Wigan-we-scoff-at-those-charlatans inspired, Chelsea 1 Brighton3!

Bet of the Week:

So, we’ve failed quite spectacularly in the last few seasons on this – actually, we’ve always failed.

But last season, we did alright. Welllllll, alright(ish)…

So!

We’re being brave and we’re gonna stick with it to see how we go!

How?

Whoever is on the “Bet of the Week” position for the following week will be asked to provide a treble selection so we can place the allocated £3 for the bet.

The winnings will stay on that slot and collected by the lucky person residing there at the end of Week 13.

Got that? No?!

OK…

The person on 83rd will make the selections for Week 2, the person on 60th in Week 2 will make the selections for Week 3,the person on 45th in Week 3 will make the selections for Week 4 and the person on 33rd in Week 4 will make the selections for Week 5 and back round again to 83rd…yeah?!

Good.

So, there was a clutch of players there this week, but our fave YamYam Rob Currin is first up.

Bert, I need your 3 selections by Friday please! This season we’ll go with 1 home win, 1 draw & 1 away win. Just, because…

Don’t fancy that? Well, it doesn’t have to be football! It can be horses! Or dogs! Or fighting crickets! But not cricket…that’s a step too far!

Let’s get off to a winning start for a change.

No pressure mate..

Twitter is dead & so is Instagram – but we’ve got a What’s App group!

Wanna join?

Why?

Well, I send round reminders that you don’t have to check your email for.

Erm…some people are quite funny (some are annoying) & hopefully, we’ll get some good pics of away fans at games.

We will crush any “hilarious GIFs” though…

Plus, you can gloat when you land that 9 pointer in the 97th minute!

Email me over your number and i’ll add ya ([email protected])

Cheers,
