Apologies for the delay…

Week 13 scoresheets back by 19.34 on Friday please

PAS CL SF home leg people – don’t forget your joker!

“All I Need Is Everything”:
How’s this for double? A 1-3 & a 4-1 – with a 92nd minute consolation goal thrown in for good measure? Good eh?!
More than good for Will Oppong 37 (5) this week as he steals the second to last weekly £20 and sets himself up nicely for even more prize money… Well done Willo, you can put that towards my part of my season ticket next season if you want?!
“Oblivious”:
How’s this for a treble? Michelle Fernandez, Louise Briggs & John Street 9 (0)?
Shocking eh?!
Correct Score of the Week:
Ahhhhh, that’s better… most popular scores were Norwich’s 2-1 win over Reading and Ipswich’s 1-1 draw at Sheffield Wednesday – 15 of you got them!
7 got Leicester’s 2-2 draw at Selhurst Park, 7 got Liverpool’s two-two with Chelsea & 6 got the 2-2 between The Saints & The Staggies.
13 got Man Utd’s 3-0 win over Villa, 9 got Hibs 0 Aberdeen 0 and 4 got Chesterfield’s 1-3 win at Fleetwood.
Pete B/Neil O/Will O nailed the four-one in Glasgow & Frankie F/Neil T/Dan A nabbed the 0-0 at Swansea. Craig B & Olly O got Derby 3-1 Peterboro.
Paul Car got Spurs 3 Man City 1 (boo!) & Will O got Motherwell’s 1-3 v Dundee Utd.
However, this week’s best correct score goes to Francesca Fernandez for her 9 nanny inspired, Hull 0 Bristol City 0.
Bet of the Week:
Frankie selected No.65 & Rowan Marriott went the way of most this season…
Next up is No.3. Hello Paul Campbell!

Table News:

“The Boy Wonders”:

L13 Spring 2013: Week 11 Roundup

“2+2=5”:
Securing a nine pointer at Brentford had Danny A realising the assumption made last week that sunshine improves your game. However a 95th minute consolation goal in Peterborough shifted this week’s £20 over to Simon Lindquist 39(7). Congrats Simon, I trust it was sunny in Woking as per usual this week?
“Let Down”:
I got one thing right last week stating that Ashworth, Fernandez & Briggs would all be involved this week. Sadly it’s the wrong end for me and I was only spared the ignominy of finishing bottom thanks to one correct score. That (dis)honour goes to Louise Briggs 12(0) – oops, too much Rosada maybe?!
Correct Score of the Week:
How do you do it? I’ve forgotten… most popular score was Bolton’s 1-2 win in the West Country – 19 of you got that!
5 got Birmingham’s 2-2 draw at the King Power & 10 got Arsenal’s 3-1 over Norwich.
Stephen S/Tony M/Matt W got the 3-1 between The Magpies & The U’s.
Ian P & Mark J B got Hartlepool’s 0-1 win over Tranmere & Simon Lindq & Ben H got Peterborough 3 Watford 2 and Tom A got Brighton’s 0-2 win at Boro.
Craig B nailed the three-zero in Cardiff.
However, this week’s best correct score goes to Danny Ashworth for his 9 point inspired, Brentford 3 Portsmouth 2.
Bet of the Week:
Frankie selected No.79 & Alex Rossi went the way of most this season…
Next up is No.65. Hello Rowan Marriott!

Table News:

“Everything In Its Right Place”:
No change at the top, Paul Campbell has a 6 point lead over Danny A with Neil O a further 5 points behind in third as the title battle bubbles up nicely. Dan P crashes the Top Ten at ten.
“Give Up The Ghost”:
Harry Birkner as always, stays bottom but now only ten points behind Yours Truly (it can’t happen can it??!) who in turn is a further six points off Stuart F…
“The Bends”:
Highest climber this week, up a whopping 15 places is Simon Lindquist – honourable mentions go to Tony M (+14) & Steve M (+11).
“Like Spinning Plates”:
Falling furthest this week, down a whopping 16 places is Louise Briggs – dishonourable mentions go to Pete B (-13) and Martin S (-14).

L13 Spring 2013: Week 10 Roundup

Hola!

Apologies for the delay – I’ve been busy doing nuffink…

“Autograph”:
If having sun on your face, wearing shorts & eating al fresco is a good recipe to win a weekly PAS prize then expect a Fernandez, Ashworth & Briggs triumvirate next week. This week though, Oz dwelling Paul Carter 37 (6) takes the weather (and the £20) with him, racking up his third payout this season – bonzer!
“You’re Not Very Well”:
The trend continues to have an appalling week alongside someone equally appalling this season – this week’s fall guys are Greg Snowdon & Gary Mitchell 9(0)
Correct Score of the Week:
Bravo! Muy bien!… most popular score was The Arsenal’s 1-2 win in the Black Country – 20 of you got that!
4 got Swansea’s 2-2 draw at Carrow Road, 6 got Burnley’s 3-1 at Turf Moor & 5 got the 2-2 between The Terriers & The Posh.

L13 Spring 2013: Week 9 Roundup

“Love Games”:
You’re gonna miss the derby and you’re gonna miss the semi so surely some solace was to be found by Danny Ashworth 43(8) in winning this week’s £20?! Then up popped Demba Ba – dilemma over. Double winner! (unlike RVP….)
“Hot Water”:
Seems de rigueur to have an appalling week alongside someone equally appalling this season – staying on trend are Felix Hines & Stephen Street 10(0)
