PAS Lucky 13 Spring ’24 Week 13 round up

Ooops, just a bit late this week – blame the NLD.
I was at a play that Frankie was in on Sunday afternoon and only just caught up with the game at White Hart Lane – blame the drama kids.
Anyway, it was quite an unremarkable PAS week considering only 11 people managed more than thirty points!
Chris D, Charlie H & Damian W went close but they couldn’t halt old skooler Danny Ashworth 41 (7) who basically has VAR at Villa to thank for the final weekly £20 prize!
Congrats Danny boy – gonna keep that money to buy yourself a pint at Wembley on May 25th?!
Probably wishing they were late this week, are the eighteen bods who couldn’t rustle up more than 15 points this week.
Twelve didn’t get a correct score.
Matt Worsfold 10 (0) spared Simon Linds & me the final “shame” of the season…

Bravo!…most popular score was Huddersfield’s 1-1 draw with Birmingham City– 22 of youse got that!
Twelve nailed Villa 2 Chelsea 2
12 more basked in the ecstasy of Spurs 2 Arsenal 3
Six just knew PNE wouldn’t score against Leicester for a 0-3
4 obviously guessed Hibs would beat St Johnstone 1-3
Martin S, Chris D & Mike K got the dull-all at Rugby Park
Ben H, Dave C & Andy B had the “Desmond” between West Ham & Liverpool
Neil O, Matthew M & Damian W stumbled upon Newcastle Utd 5 Sheffield Utd 1
Neil C & Hira Y snaffled up the 5 points on offer for Norwich City 2 Swansea City 2
Andy C & Martin S (again) made short work of the 0-0 at Blackburn Rovers
Ryan G believed in Citeh, a 0-2 belief…
Reagon K saw his typo come good on the game at Southampton
However, this week’s best correct score goes to Chris Dixon for his trust-me-here’s-the-last-best-score-of-the-season inspired, Hull City 3 Ipswich Town 3!
Bet of the Week:
Martin Stafford was on “Bet of the Week” position 33rd in Week 12 so I asked him to provide a 3 team selection for the final £3 “trixie” bet of the season.
And guess what?!
So close to a fitting ending!
So, £1.90 goes on “Bet of the Week” slot 33rd leaving it on £1.90 – scant consolation for missing out on PAS CL qualification (not that i’d know about that…)
