Hope you’re all well, fit & healthy – brave new world, eh?
And yes, the barnet is in good order now…
We’ve thought long and hard at PAS Towers about how we continue and now we’ve decided.
As you know, PAS Lucky 13 Spring ’20 was declared null & void.
The table will stay on the site for posterity and the league leader of “The Season That Never Was” will be awarded a “ghost trophy” to mark the occasion.
Congrats, Hira! You’ve won the “ghost” prize money too!
Ditto for the person propping up the league (oh, Frankie!) – you’ll get a “ghost spoon”. (Un)Lucky you.
So, where does that leave us?
I can officially reveal that PAS Cup 2020 & PAS Champions League 2019/20 are also null & void.
However, the quarter-finalists of both aforementioned competitions will automatically be carried over to PAS Cup 2021 & PAS Champions League 2020/2021 respectively.
The quarter-finals will take place during season PAS Lucky 13 Spring ’21
PAS Lucky 13 Winter ’20
We’ll start PAS Lucky 13 Winter ’20 as usual in September, on the 25th in fact.
All the entry money (and prize money!) will be carried over, meaning you’ll have NOTHING to pay (the overall prize fund has”soaked up ” the shortfall from the “season that never was” but not so you’d really notice…)
PAS Lucky 13 Spring ’20 entry fee money
If anyone would like their money back now, we can refund you.
Then, if you join again for next season (PAS L12S21), it’ll be the usual twenty quid…
PAS Cup 2020
As above, PAS Cup 2020 is null & void and PAS Cup ’21 will commence from the quarter-final stages as there will not be any qualification required.
PAS Champions League 2019-20
As above, PAS Champions League 2020 is null & void and PAS CL ’21 will commence from the quarter-final stages as there will not be any qualification required.
PAS Euro 2021
Finish in the Top 32 of PAS Lucky 13 Winter 2020 and you’ll qualify with proper big benefits!
It wasn’t an easy decision to make on any of this, but in the end probably the fairest..and the one meaning the least amount of hassle (for you & us!)
Apologies if this isn’t the outcome you wanted – let’s hope we can get back to “normal” pretty soon…
So, lords, ladies & gentlemen, prep your engines, get your noses into the “form” books, look into how affecting a “water break” is on tactics and ask yourself, can Sheff Wed really stay up with such a deficit? Or should you put them down to lose 2-0 every week?
Stay safe, be sensible, and tell the racists (again) to f*ck off.
