PAS Lucky 13 Winter 2025 Week 12 round up

Just another game…

Decent Days And Nights”:

Weekend to forget?

Or was it regret?

Yeah, I scored an own goal too…

As the season passes the penultimate week, it’s still one of the very few seasons that has been wide open due to “not very good winning totals” (he says from 65th in the table…)

That trend continued this week.

Only eight punters scored 30 points or more.

Olly O had a good go, as did Norman L, thanks mainly to Wrexham’s 92nd-minute equaliser at home to Watford.

Lee P will be howling at the “Mr 2-0 rule change” brought in this season, as he missed Friday night’s game – but he still came up a smidge short despite 3 x five pointers.

Predicting the first game of the week correctly usually means you’ll end up with a score like mine….

Bucking that trend though, Sam Arora 37 (5) cantered clear thanks to a very impressive 21 correct results to take the £20 weekly prize!

Well done Mr A – does that mean your thoroughbred gets an extra bale of hay for Christmas now?!

The Fab Five

Assists – nothing to see here!

Worry About It Later”:

Oh maaaan! I now know how Grimsby are feeling…

Only 8 punters scored no more than fifteen points this week.

Five didn’t get a correct score (oh, Emma!)

Everyone got into double figures though – every cloud n that…

Propping up the rest this week is Julian Fernandez 11 (0) – so that’s not just me being mocked by Patricia F then – nice one bruv!

Correct Score of the Week:

I’m sulking…most popular score was PNE’s 1-2 win at Oxford – 26 of youse got that!

Fourteen put us all to shame by predicting Middlesbrough 3 QPR 1

8 lapped up the injury time joy of Wrexham 2 Watford 2

Seven just knew Sheff Wed wouldn’t score against Derby for a 0-3

6 made off with 5 points courtesy of Livingston 2 Dundee 2

Sam A & Lee P made us all green by happening upon Chesterfield 3-1 Barnet

Lee P (again!) was well away with the 0-3 away win for Haaland Man City

David G was proper grinning at Villa’s 2-3 at West Ham

Elliot D said “Look at me! Yes! Me!” for his Burnley 2 Fulham 3

However, this week’s best correct score goes to my mum for her imagine-if-it-wasn’t-a-hammering-and-all-the-goals-were-scored-by-the rubbish-team-ha-ha-ha inspired, Arsenal 2 Wolves 1!

Bet of the Week:

Dan W was on “Bet of the Week” position 45th in Week 11 so we asked him to provide a treble (that’s a home, an away and a draw) selection for the £3 “trixie” bet.

And guess what?!

A “no show”…

So, £3 goes on the “Bet of the Week” slot, 45th, leaving it on £6.06 – not bad, I s’pose!

Mike C is in 33rd

Señor C, I need your 3 team treble (H, A & D) by Friday lunchtime, please!

Go for it fella, handbrake off! Let’s end the season on a high!

Table News:

First Day”:

Neil Templeton stays top, now (a shurely unassailable?) 13 points ahead of Lee T, who, in turn, is six points clear of Jonathas M in third.

Two crashed the Top Ten!

Skip To The End”:

Leo Clarke is rooted to the bottom, 12 points adrift of (the STILL absent) Dan H, who, in turn, is three points behind Simon T…

Hounds Of Love”:

Highest climber this week, up a whopping 18 places, is Sam Arora – honourable mentions go to Norman L (+17), Scott H (+10), Dan C (+12), Gareth M (+12), and Lee P (+10)

The Beginning Of The Twist”:

Falling furthest this week, down a whopping 17 places, is Hira Yonzan – dishonourable mentions go to Danny A (-10), and Jack B (-11).
