Thirty-eight of you notched up 30 points or more (yep, you read that right), and 10 of those went on to knock in totals in the forties.
Olly O racked up 29 points in 3 correct scores, Pete B & got 21 points for 2 correct scores and some added-on time help, and Pete C did the same but went one point better to score a whopping 48 points!
But it wasn’t enough.

Twenty-two put the rest to shame by predicting Netherlands 4 Lithuania 0
17 got the 0-4 La Roja win in Georgia
Twelve thrilled at the thrilling Belgium 7 Liechtenstein 0
9 quite rightly predicted Czechia’s 6-0 thrashing of Gibraltar
Seven had Croatia’s 3-1 win over the Faroe Islands
5 were proper grinning at France’s 1-3 in Azerbaijan
Mark J B felt Slot vibes when this Notts County 93rd-minute penalty secured a 1-1 at home to Harrogate
Martin S banked the five points on offer for the 2-2 betwixt Spain & Turkiye – but still seethed about International Week…
However, this week’s best correct score, and new Correct Score of the Season, goes to Mike Krasnowski for his this-was-ice-hockey-right? inspired, Kazakhstan 1 Belgium 1!

Eddie O was on “Bet of the Week” position 45th in Week 7 so we asked him to provide a treble (that’s a home, an away and a draw) selection for the £3 “trixie” bet.
And guess what?!
We won(ish)?

Luxembourg v Germany (A) – Tooned!
Greece v Scotland (D) – if only they were only two goals down…
