No, not Arsenal celebrating on the pitch – PAS!
Although, given the sharpness of this update, I could’ve waxed lyrical about “50ps/spitting/a twisted inside out Carra”, how karma works (Granit goes & I come back, and it looks like we’ll both win a title! Everyone’s happy…) and gone into the absurdness of that unnecessary thing called VAR…
But I won’t.
I’ll cut to the chase as it was all about the “hot out the blocks” points trailblazers – and, they deserve props, right?
Three PASers were 3 x flame emojis this weekend and Nick Hogwood 33 (5) nailed 2 x 5 pointers to power to victory (actually he’s probably more indebted to a certain Everton centre back…)
Martin S eschewed the charms of Mr 2-0 & put up a good fight and plucky newcomer, Mike C, who arrived with big pre-season braggadocio, was only denied a debut first outing win by young Branthwaite of Everton! Oooof!
Also, spare a thought for Roshan T who saw 8 points disappear courtesy of 94th & 91st goals in Liverpool & Burnley also denying him a weekly win – that’s a tough one to take R!
So, congrats Mr H, £20 winging its way back to you ASAP – everything else is a bonus for you this season now!

Only three of you managed that, but a whopping 33 punters couldn’t manage 15 points this week – and a more whopping 22 of those couldn’t muster a correct score!

So, we’ve failed quite spectacularly in the last few seasons on this – actually, we’ve always failed.
But last season, we did alright. Welllllll, alright(ish)…

We’re being brave and we’re gonna stick with it to see how we go!

Whoever is on the “Bet of the Week” position for the following week will be asked to provide a treble selection so we can place the allocated £3 for the bet.
The winnings will stay on that slot and collected by the lucky person residing there at the end of Week 13.
