“Glad All Over”: You can tell it’s the end of the season – people put down crazy scores, crazy scores come in. Mr 2-0 is oversubscribed as people “forget” or drift off into the spring sunshine. Form goes out the window & “coupon busters” are celebrated by bookies across the country. Oh, and “The Syndicate” make their move. Paul H was looking very likely this week to “earn” but just to make sure, Jason Morris 35 (5) came up on the blindside to make double sure the £20 was secured for the “team”. Congrats fellas, looking forward to the World Cup? #thesting
“Bits & Pieces”: It’s the end of the season, there are crazy scores expected and the sun is out. Why bother doing your scores? Dave Tagger, Sam Arora & Rob Currin 11 (0) are wondering just that…#stung
Correct Score of the Week:
Is it me or are the scores just mental… most popular score was Ipswich’s 2-1 win over Sheff Wed – 20 of youse got that!
6 got the 2-2 at The Madejski and six(!) more got the 2-3 between Everton & Man City.
Paul V / Dan R / Reda A got the 3-0 in Toon & Paul Car & Reda A (again!) got the dramarama two-two between Bolton & Brum.
Tony B got the 0-0 for The Shakers with The Shrimps & Francesca F got the Swansea 0 Southampton 1.
Howard T got Boro’s 1 – 4 win at Yeovil.
However, this week’s best correct score goes to Pab for my, ahem, impartially selected, Aston Villa 3 Hull City 1 (it was my only chance to get my name in lights Howie! Sorry, but you’re still on you way back from Cloud 9 after Monday’s game anyway..)
Bet of the Week:
This week’s 75p trixie went as follows –
Votes: 33 – you got involved!!!
Selections: Everton-Man City 16% / Nottm For-Brighton 14% / Leeds-Derby 13%
Prize Slot: 63rd
A fine end to the season with another full house trixie! Excellent stuff people, we just need even more of you to cast your votes next season!
