PAS Lucky 13 Spring 14 Week 1 round up

Fantastic Day”:

If you’re gonna win a week might as well do it early! Congrats then to Simon Buxton 35 (5) who blew away all opposition (the closest was

Howard T 10 points back!) to win in a dire week for predicting scores to collect the first £20 of the season! #i’mallrightJack

Whistle Down The Wind”:

If you’re gonna fail you might as well fail in the first week eh?! Julian Fernandez 4 (0) is all alone at the bottom and really needs to have a word with himself as it’s one of the worst scores in the history of  PAS! Commiserations JuJu, you’re our first online loser! #heain’tmybrotherhe’sheavy

Correct Score of the Week:

Quite a few correct scores knocking about (this online malarkey is suiting you!)… most popular score was Leeds Utd’s 1-2 win away at Yeovil – 23 of us got that!

15 got the 3-0 at Stamford Bridge and 10 got the 3-1 between Burnley & Millwall.

5 got the 2-2 at The Britannia & 4 got the four-zero between Rangers & Dunfermline.

Four more got the stalemate involving Middlesbro & Blackburn.

Dan H/Paul H/Gary B got Bolton’s 2-2 draw with Bournemouth and Dan H (again) & Sam A got Swansea 3 Cardiff 0.

Shashi A got Tottenham’s narrow defeat of Everton.

Howard T got Leicester 2 Watford 2.

Richard H got the 2-2 in Barnsley.

However, this week’s best correct score and therefore best correct of the season so far, goes to James Challinor for his Palace-actually-scoring-more-than-one inspired, Crystal Palace 3 WBA 1.

Bet of the Week:

We had varying degrees of success with this last season so we’ve stuck with it and this week’s 75p trixie went as follows –

Votes: 37

Selections: Southampton 23% /Sunderland 19% /Crystal Palace 14%

Prize Slot: 11th

Returns: £0. Boo-hoo! Not the best start eh?

Don’t forget to cast your vote every week but make sure you do it by 10am on a Saturday.

Future scoresheets will always be available on the site so while you’ve got time you might as well get some scores down eh?!

Or, why don’t you be ultra-modern and use your phone to submit your scores! Dan H has worked tirelessly to enable & improve access via mobile devices so it’d be rude not to…
