- Harveys Bristol Cream :
- Has he started to stumble? His lead is a mere 14 points! Steve Tagger remains in pole position and barring an all time low score will be pocketing at least £100 next week….
- Eggnog :
- With Will O clocking up a winning score this week it leaves Jon Allin stranded in the wooden spoon position a full 10 points behind Danny A.
- Drinking Up :
- Highest climber this week, and he’ll be glad of it – trust me, is Neil T (+7) into the coveted 32nd slot – others of note are Matt G (+5) into 5th and hunting 3rd, Dave McS (+5) to 18th, Tapiwa M (+6) continuing a late comeback to 21st, Lisa G (+6) putting hubby Mark to shame in 24th and Michelle F (+6) 3 points of 2007 qualification in 35th
- Down In One :
- Falling the furthest (farthest?), even further than the journey from Mancland to Devon is Andy C (-8) to 30th – other losers are Mr 2-0 (-6) to 20th (good!), Dave N (-6) to 26th, Watford keeper Richard L (-7) to 31st and Gary B (-6) to 38th
- Close & A Cigar! :
- Jamie S (non-mover) stays on11th virtue of an inferior correct score difference
- Spotters :
- Neil M (-4) on 17th, Ben A (+2) on 23rd, Simon S (-4) on 39th and John W (non mover) on 47th.
- Cup 2007 :
- At the end of Week 13 you need to be where Neil T (+7) is to qualify for the Lucky 13 Spring 2007 & the Big PAS Cup!
- Michael Essien’s Lucky Strike :
- In a week that saw the tables being turned upside down (see BotW) Will Oppong 38 (5) struck a blow for the minnows by claiming the £20 this week. Well done Willo, you can treat yourself to a hotdog at the Arse now….
- Michael Essien’s Miss :
- It’s all gone horribly wrong for the Pilgrim who entered the PAS fray late doors this season. Should he have stuck with the Mr 2-0 scores? Jon Allin 14 (0) must have that Armada feeling…
- Correct Score of the Week :
- Nuff people got Man Yoo and Liverpool, Dave McS got Rangers 3-0, Lisa G got a very commendable Colchester 1-3 at Palace and Will O nailed the Bolton 4-0. However, Hitman Howie T wears the crown this week for his Hearts 4 Motherwell 1 prediction. Baby, let’s go go…
- Bet of the Week :
- Aarrrgggghhhhhhhhhh! I didn’t hold out much hope with the speculative win/draw acca’s but the £3 main bet was a sure thing for around £30! It was all going swimmingly until Gretna (the Chelsea of second-rate Scottish football) somehow conspired to go 0-1 up, get a man sent off for “foul and abusive language” (you might as well punch someone on your way off for that!) and go on to lose to 2nd bottom Aidrie Utd by 4 bloomin’ goals to 2. I hate accumulators! Going into the final week we are now £1.25 out of pocket so it’s all down to Will O to save face/the day….
Cheers,
Pab.
