L13 Winter 2006 : Week 8 Roundup

Steve Coppell :
He’s still out front and he’s still 5 points clear – Steve Tagger is holding off the fast rising Ciaran McG who in turn has a 6 point gap to Jazz S, who in turn has a 9 point gap to the chasing pack…
Iain Dowie :
He’s still stuck at the bottom and he’s now 7 points adrift – Will Oppong is falling away from Danny A who is now behind Jon A
Gareth Southgate :
John G (+16) is this weeks highest climber – props to Matt G (+15), Lisa G (+9) and Martin S / Anders H / Gary B (+6)
Alan Pardew :
Tapiwa M (-12) is this weeks biggest loser – disses to Mark F / Neil B / Mark G (- 7), Donna E / Pam R (-8) and Greg E (-10)
Close & A Cigar! :
Mark F is smoking on 11th (-7)
Spotters :
Scott A (-1) on 17th, Andy C (-4) on 23rd, Anders H (+6) on 39th and Jon A (+1) on 47th.
Cup 2007 :
At the end of Week 13 you need to be where Simon S (+4) is to qualify for the Lucky 13 Spring 2007 & the Big PAS Cup!
Take A Boo Son! :
They’ll be dancing in the streets of North East Baile Atha Cliath tonight as Ciaran McGoldrick 42 (7) is this weeks winner. Whether he spends the money on Gypsy Rovers, the Bhoys, his boys or his good lady wife is something to ponder whilst supping pints of O’Guinness down the juicer, probably watching GAA at the same time. Or maybe even a new amp for Clubber Lang? Now there’s a dilemma… £29.72873 coming your way sunshine!
Not Gonna Happen Fair :
Ooops! Pam Riding 14 (1) is this weeks disgrace – the slide continues…
Correct Score of the Week:
Lots of you got Chelsea and (back to normal) Celtic, I got Leicester 2 Plymouth 2, Matt G got Wigan 3 Charlton 2 (goodbye Judas Dowie!), Mark G & Ciaran McG got Leeds 3 Colchester 0 and Steve T & John G got Luton 2 QPR 3. This weeks best, and new overall score, goes to Pam Dyson for her Arsenal 3 Liverpool 0 prediction. Hoooray!
Bet of the Week :
Mark G’s very optimisitc double (it included City!) fell woefully short and our overall profit is now cut to £23.75. Next up is Ciaran McG so expect index spread betting on J J Deleany or something…

Cheers,
Pab
