Hola,
I was on a bit of a baby bliss sleep deprived plane, sort´ve remember some stuff but I can´t tell what was really real...
"..proper DJ mate - respect for using vinyl!", an unusual amount of those scally people in dressed in "clobber", Robinho in Manchester, the CD player nicked, a Bez-like dancing barman, Glasvegas being played at 11 (volume, not time), the Whitest Boy Alive´s number one fan waxing lyrical about the album, no one there after 1am, jam packed at 10pm, Sir Alex waiting outside to give Dimi a lift home, a gaggle of St Trinians girls causing mayhem in their "uniforms", playing songs with the word "baby" in the title a lot, DJing without drinking....nah, can´t be right.

We Salute You! : Lil Kaz, Rob Bass, Miss Shiv and the Croydon Netball Squad

Hired Help: We hadn´t seen or heard from him in aaaaages but he promised he´d do a slot for us an di have to say he stole the show! DJHertzington (Dougie to his mates) played a stormer whipping up the erm, one-off, crowd into a bit of a frenetic tizz, so much so that they all got a bit miffed when he went off!

10 Hertzington-Frequency-Jammers

Next up from the "Our Friends Eclectic" roster is...... Colin VinylRevival
Back by dope demand (well, me..), our man from the record emporium will be spinning all those 45s that get fingered and flicked through but never bought - so that´ll be Five Star getting a rare airing then...

As ever, we´ll be spinning the usual oddities, pop gems, rarities, remixes, dubious covers & fond memories. All the other stuff is random - just how we like it.

For Your Diary - Upcoming Guests from our "Our Friends Eclectic" roster.

Friday 3rd October - Carol Pullover - the first laydee we´ve been able to tempt down to play - if she plays like she talks expect 487 non-stop pop classics with just a twist of indie to finish it all off. And if it´s anything like her band play, it´ll be ace!

Friday 31st October - Pablo Money - November is brought forward just so Mr Money can scare you with his monster mash up of sounds from yesteryear and beyond - weave that spell!

Friday 5th December - Mike Excuse? - Christmas electro cheer from one half of the Excuse? duo - the other one is sunning it up in New Zealand the b*st*rd...

Anyway, August´s hi-lights....

Cheers,
Pab
